OM GANADHYAKHSAYA NAMAH

 

Meaning: Ganadhyaksay – Gana means: a group and Adhyaksh means: the one who leads the group.

 

Benefit: You can use this mantra to ensure the welfare of a particular state or city. You can even sing this mantra to improve or build our personal leadership skills.

 

 

OM GAJANANAYA NAMAH

 

Meaning: Gajanan means here: the one who carries the elephant head. In Sanskrit, Gaj means elephant. This mantra says that if God can carry the elephant head to survive and fulfill his duties, we too should put our ego aside and live our lives dutifully.

 

Benefit: This mantra motivates one to live modestly and to sing it helps one to find one's inner peace and gain consciousness.

 

 

OM VIGNANAASHNAY NAMAH

 

Meaning: Ganpati is also worshiped to remove obstacles from one's life. Here Vigna means obstacles and Nashnay means: the one who removes obstacles.

 

Benefit: If you have problems with your social life, at work or with interpersonal relationships, you can be relieved by singing this mantra.

 

 

OM LAMBODARAYA NAMAH

 

Meaning: Ganesha is known for loving his food and he has a big, round belly. Lambodar calls him therefore as a god, who has a big belly.

 

Benefit: Singing this mantra allows a person to love and become one with the entire universe, like Lord Ganpati.

 

 

OM SUMUKHAYA NAMAH

 

Meaning: Sumukh means: the one with a pleasing face. Lord Ganesha had lost his head and replaced him with that of an elephant. However, his good spirit and pure soul also appeared on his elephant face and that made him beautiful and calm.

 

Benefit: With this mantra you can look back on your own shortcomings, identify the inner beauty and improve it.

 

 

OM GAJKARNIKAYA NAMAH

 

Meaning: Gaj means elephant and Karnikay ears. With the elephant head and the elephant ears Ganesh could not hear everything from all sources.

 

Benefit: This mantra allows us to be just like Ganesh, only to hear and accept what is good. The singing of the mantra protects us from external negativity and helps us overcome the stress it causes.

 

 

OM VIKATAYA NAMAH

 

Meaning: Here Vikat means difficult.

 

Benefit: The world is full of difficult situations and often one finds oneself discouraged and unable to concentrate. This mantra reminds you that our ultimate goal is salvation, and no matter what happens, keep an eye out for it. This Ganpati mantra will keep our eyes on this long-term goal and motivate us to salvation.

 

 

OM VINAYAKAYA NAMAH

 

Meaning: Vinayaka is the name of Ganesha in the Golden Age. Vinayaka means something that is under control and also: the Lord who solves problems

Meaning: Rinn Harta is another name for Lord Ganesha and the English meaning of it is: The giver of wealth. In Hindi, the meaning of Rinn harta or Rhinaharta is derived from the word Rinn or Rinnam, which means guilt and harta means remover.

PRACHODAYAT – Brighten our mind with wisdom

 

Full meaning:

We pray to the one with a single elephant tusk that is omnipresent. We meditate on it and pray to the Lord with the crooked elephant-like trunk for more intelligence. We bow to the one with the single elephant tusk to illuminate our mind with wisdom.

 

Ekadanta refers to the one tusk on the elephant face, which means that God has broken the duality and made us have a complete one-pointed mind.

 

Benefit: This mantra promotes modesty, righteousness, and most accomplished wisdom among those who sing it.
