The fivefold teachings of Dawa Gyaltsen

Content from this collection

In this eight-part series of Dzogchen teachings, Geshe Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche explains the core tenets of Dawa Gyaltsen, a meditation master of the eighth-century Bön Buddhist tradition of Tibet. These teachings are meant to lead one to a clear and blissful experience of what the true nature of the mind is.

Each video will have a subtitle file and a text file for download. In addition to the videos with the 5 teachings, there is also an MP3 file that you can use for meditation. Be sure to start with the first instruction «Vision is Mind», as these build on each other.

Do each of these meditations for at least a week, multiple times a day if you wish, for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, depending on your ability to sit in awareness. When you are used to sitting in awareness, sit longer. But if you are not used to sitting in awareness, sit briefly but with clarity.
